Parent Permission Slip - Minor Release Form

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. --Psalm 40:1-3a

Our Purpose...
is to multiply adolescent apprentices of Jesus who risk everything in obedience to Christ in authentetic, contagious community to see this generation transformed by the reality of the Kingdom of God.
Our Ministry...
is centered around NewSong Church's core values: Communion, Community, and Commission.
Communion: We want to learn how to respond to & worship God in the context of His Church. Our Sunday celebration services for Middle School meets every Sunday morning at 9:00am. High School celebration begins at 6:30pm.
Community: We believe the Christian faith is designed to be lived out in the context of community. Therefore, Life Groups are essential to this Church and are divided by gender and grade. Life Group meeting times vary from group to group. Life Groups serve as the vascular system of this church; Everything we do flows through them.
Commission: We affirm that every believer has the opportunity to participate in God’s redemptive plan and that we have been designed and empowered to influence others as we participate in inaugurating the Kingdom of God. As a result, our goal is that every person in our ministry (be it student or leader) understand their spiritual gifts, passion, personality and interests in order to be equipped and released to participate in God’s redemptive work throughout the world.
We accomplish these things by taking a holistic approach to Christian formation. Our desire is to minister to the totality of an individual. We do this by building lifelong assets in the lives of our students. Everything we do is filtered through the “40 Developmental Assets” which provides us with unlimited, creative potential to create the kinds of programs and teaching experiences that will help form our students as apprentices of Jesus.
