Summary:     We may often think that God can’t or won’t use broken people. But the truth is, we are all broken in some way. Seeing that God has always worked through broken people helps avoid the idleness that comes from feeling that we can’t be used by God.  On the other hand, God has an ideal, and He is working to sanctify us towards that ideal.  If we take too much comfort in the fact that we are broken, and make no effort toward God’s standard, we can remain ineffective and immature as children of God.  As we learn about how God uses broken people, we will see that God has a plan to restore us while drawing us more and more to become like Christ Jesus.
